| Since the engine wasn't running normally, the problem was most likely an electrical issue or a fuel leak. Without seeing the car in person or looking over some very good pictures of the engine area, it's impossible to say what the exact cause of the problem was. If the fire was extinguished pretty quickly, your damage may be limited to electrical harnesses and maybe some other plastic or rubber parts in the vicinity of the flames. Chances are that if you replace the main harness along with anything else that was damaged, things should be OK. BUT, you still need to determine if the fire was caused by a fuel leak.
